Scammers are exploiting a loophole in digital music distribution to upload AI-generated fake songs onto real artists' pages on Spotify and other platforms, collecting royalties meant for the artists. This scam is easier to execute on smaller or unmanaged artist profiles, including those of deceased musicians.
