Shell increases LNG production by 12% in first nine months of 2026

Shell boosted its liquefied natural gas production by 12% to about 23 million metric tons in the first nine months of 2026, with quarterly outputs slightly declining from Q1 to Q3. LNG sales increased 6% to 56.4 million metric tons over the same period, and the company expects Q4 production between 7.3 and 7.9 million metric tons.
