Simplifying runtime caching on Vercel

Vercel has unified its Data Cache and Runtime Cache into a single product, Runtime Cache, for data caching across various frameworks and APIs. It supports Next.js fetch caching without code changes and offers larger storage for Pro and Enterprise users. The system uses a distributed cache backed by Redis across regions, handling over 440 million reads hourly and 18 TB of data transfer.
