Sony, Universal and Warner back a new pact against streaming fraud

The IFPI launched the Streaming Integrity Initiative, backed by major music companies including Sony, Universal, and Warner, to combat streaming fraud by requiring distributors to verify rights, detect fraud, and share data. The initiative targets fraudulent AI-generated tracks and bot plays that divert royalties from legitimate artists.
