Spot gas price in Europe surpasses $1,150 per 1,000 cubic meters first since December 2022

European spot gas prices exceeded $1,150 per 1,000 cubic meters on October 28, 2026, reaching levels not seen since December 2022, with day-ahead prices at the TTF hub hitting $1,160. Futures contracts for November also rose near $1,142 per 1,000 cubic meters.
