Google, Nvidia, and Anthropic want Emerald AI to find space on the grid for more data centers

Emerald AI has partnered with Google, Nvidia, Anthropic, and several utilities to form the AI Energy Management Alliance (AEMA), aiming to integrate demand response into data center operations. This approach allows data centers to reduce or shift electricity use during peak grid demand, potentially enabling an additional 100 gigawatts of data center capacity on the grid.
