Tencent has entered a $7 billion, five-year lease agreement with Oracle to use about 100,000 advanced AI chips housed in Oracle's Southeast Asia data centers. This is Tencent's largest overseas cloud lease deal, aimed at supporting AI model training and deployment despite recent negative cash flow due to heavy AI infrastructure spending.
