Tokyo Electric Power Co. started deploying a remote-controlled robotic arm into the Fukushima Daiichi No. 2 reactor's containment vessel to prepare for debris retrieval next year. The arm will clear obstacles and gather 3D data over several months to aid large-scale fuel debris removal.
