TikTok U.S. hunts for multiple gigawatts of computing capacity, sources tell CNBC

TikTok's U.S. entity, TikTok USDS Joint Venture, is seeking to secure around four gigawatts of computing capacity by the early 2030s to support AI workloads and localize its recommendation algorithm on U.S. user data. The company primarily uses Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and is expanding its AI product development.
