University of Manchester Uses NVIDIA Earth-2 to Forecast Air Pollution Across the UK

The University of Manchester, collaborating with NVIDIA, adapted the Earth-2 AI models to forecast UK air pollution more efficiently than traditional methods. Using the Isambard-AI supercomputer, they trained Earth-2 CorrDiff and Earth-2 StormCast models to provide detailed, time-dependent pollution forecasts, aiding health and policy planning.
