US Congressman Ro Khanna has requested information from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, and SpaceX about efforts by China or hostile actors to steal AI model weights and their cybersecurity defenses. He also reached out to Chinese AI firms and US intelligence regarding AI risks.
