Veterans minister to discuss honoring Korean War veterans with Philippine defense chief

South Korea's Veterans Minister Kwon Oh-eul met with Philippine Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. to discuss expanding veterans cooperation and honoring Philippine soldiers who fought in the Korean War. They plan to build on a March memorandum to support fallen soldiers' families and explore defense industry partnerships. Kwon also honored Korean War hero Capt. Conrado Yap by presenting a commemorative plaque to his granddaughter.
