Volkswagen loses €5.8bn in a quarter as Porsche, China and tariffs bite

Volkswagen reported a €5.8bn after-tax loss in Q3, driven by a €6.4bn write-down on Porsche and challenges including shrinking China sales, US tariffs, and lower electric vehicle margins. Revenue fell 6.3% and deliveries dropped 14.3%.
