You can generate and edit Google Docs files directly in Gemini chats now

Google Gemini now lets users generate, preview, and edit various file types including PDFs, Google Docs, Sheets, and slides directly within chats. PDF editing is available on web and mobile, while other formats are web-only for now. Users can also interact with file content by highlighting text to prompt edits or queries.
