Bun 1.4, a JavaScript runtime rewritten in Rust, introduces Bun.WebView for browser automation using WebKit or Chromium. A TypeScript service demonstrates Bun.WebView can create a shot-scraper-style JSON API for JavaScript execution and screenshots without Puppeteer or Playwright.
