Accelerate multimodal RL training with SkyRL on Amazon SageMaker HyperPod

Amazon SageMaker HyperPod enables scalable, resilient reinforcement learning training by managing cluster infrastructure and failures. Using SkyRL with Qwen3-VL-8B vision-language model, it improved maze navigation success from 43.75% to over 95%. The platform supports multi-node RL jobs with checkpointing and monitoring via Grafana dashboards.
