Coming in 2027: Apple’s $1,000 home robot for FaceTime and switching on lights

Apple is developing a $1,000+ AI-powered home robot called J595 or HomeView Ultra, designed for FaceTime calls and smart lighting control, targeting a 2027 or possibly 2028 release. The robot aims to offer more than video calling but currently has limited features compared to existing smart home devices.
