Gemini app for macOS adding send and read iMessage integration

Google updated its Gemini app for macOS to include local iMessage integration, enabling users to read, search, and send plain text messages within Apple Messages. The feature supports sending messages to contacts, reading recent and unread conversations, and searching message history but lacks media attachments and group chat management.
