OpenAI is offering engineers up to $500,000 in salary as it pushes into robotics

OpenAI is significantly expanding its robotics team, offering salaries up to $500,000 for roles in hardware design, software, data collection, and prototyping. The company now lists 27 robotics positions, more than doubling since May, reflecting a broadening of its robotics initiatives beyond software to include physical robot development.
