Oracle has set aside $700M more for job cuts it has not made yet

Oracle has increased its expected 2026 restructuring costs by $700 million to $2.8 billion, anticipating further job cuts mostly outside the US. The company is also building data center capacity for clients like OpenAI and CEO Larry Ellison plans to sell 50 million shares by October.
