Tencent-backed AI chipmaker Enflame Technology saw its shares surge nearly 180% above the IPO price on its first day of trading on Shanghai's Star Market, raising about $911 million. The company, founded in 2018 and specializing in AI chips for training and inference, now has a market value of approximately $25.5 billion despite never having turned a profit.
