Google and Nvidia launch an alliance to make data centres flex their power

Google, Nvidia, and Emerald AI have founded the AI Energy Management Alliance (AEMA) to enable data centres to reduce power use during grid strain, aiming for faster grid connections and standardized flexibility metrics. Eighteen partners including Anthropic and National Grid support this initiative to enhance grid reliability and efficiency.
